Absolutely. And today’s show goes into 3 ways — and the ONLY 3 ways — to do it.
Specifically, I expand on Show #4’s theme of Making More Money for your medical practice via podcasting, mainly via active income, which is how most medpros traditionally get paid.
I define and contrast active and passive income, and explain that while passive has greater potential, active income is much easier to implement and can show a quicker return on investment.
I then describe the 3 ways to increase active income in a medical practice (or any business, or podcasting venture, for that matter) — and the one underlying principle that automatically takes care of them all when you podcast. I give specific examples (for a change) of show topics that can create more income from the patient care services you render.
I run out of time before getting to my final topic: deciding whether to podcast or blog a show’s content. I plan to periodically include “MedSqod Nuggets” like this, tips to streamline the planning or execution of your medical or other busy podcasts. Not, however, if the show is already pushing 30 minutes in length; I promise to put this nugget in the next show.
